Hormone Test

The Hormone test is carried out in-house only.

The test is carried out using the BEST System, one of the most advanced screening equipment available in the UK based on bio-energetic testing.

Using the system, it is possible to evaluate the state of balance in all the various hormones and hormone systems in the body, including:

  • adrenal hormones
  • thyroid hormones
  • male or female sex hormones, including oestrogen, progesterone, testosterone
  • hormones responsible for carbohydrate metabolism, including insulin and glucagon
  • parathyroid hormones
  • and any others

If an imbalance is found in any hormones, then you have the choice of following that up with biochemical tests to evaluate the situation further, or to follow a therapy programme recommended.

Key Benefits

  • Simple, effective.
  • Non-invasive, no blood test needed.
  • Immediate results.
  • Includes comprehensive recommendations.

Who should have the test?

Anyone who has any hormone problems or suspected hormone problems.

It can help with most hormone problems, and would be particularly useful for anyone with the following:

  • Suspected or proven thyroid problems
  • Suspected or proven adrenal problems, including stress, depression, anxiety and many others
  • Female hormone problems, such as menstrual, menopausal, infertility or any other

Balancing hormones is an important consideration in dealing with many chronic or complicated health problems, including the following:

  • chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) or ME
  • cancer
  • allergies
  • arthritis
  • ... and many other conditions

Other tests to consider

  • Vitamin and Mineral test - to assess levels of vitamins, minerals and other nutritional elements.
  • Allergy test - to identify any suspected (or unsuspected) allergy or intolerance.
  • BetterHealthCheck - to assess overall health.
